Last updated September 14, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Metron Sports International, Inc. (“Metron,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our websites, mobile applications, and services (the “Service”). Because many of our users are minors, protecting their information is central to how we build Metron.
1. Information we collect
We collect information in the following ways:
- Information you provide. Account details such as name, email, phone number, school, role, sport, graduation year, and any statistics, media, or messages you submit.
- Verification information. Where adults request the ability to contact athletes, we may collect information needed to review and vet that request.
- Usage information. Basic technical and usage data such as device type and interactions with the Service, used to operate and improve it.
2. How we use information
- To create and operate your account and provide the Service.
- To verify statistics against video and to vet adults who seek to contact athletes.
- To keep the community safe, including detecting abuse and enforcing our Terms.
- To communicate with you about the Service, including waitlist and launch updates.
3. Children’s privacy
Metron is designed to be used by student-athletes, including minors, with parental or guardian involvement. Where required by law, we obtain appropriate consent before collecting personal information from a child. A parent or guardian may review their child’s information, request that it be corrected or deleted, and withdraw consent by contacting us at support@metronsports.com. We limit the information we collect from minors to what is needed to provide the Service.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to operate the Service - for example, with service providers who host our infrastructure under confidentiality obligations, or when required by law or to protect the safety of our users. Profile information you choose to publish (such as verified stats) may be visible to other users of the recruiting network consistent with your settings.
5. Data security
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but safeguarding data - particularly that of minors - is a core priority in how we design and operate Metron.
6. Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate legal, safety, and operational purposes. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.
7. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@metronsports.com. For minors, a parent or guardian may exercise these rights on the child’s behalf.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you and will update the “Last updated” date above.
