Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the websites, mobile applications, and services offered by Metron Sports International, Inc. (“Metron,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who can use Metron

Metron is a recruiting network for student-athletes. Many of our users are minors. If you are under the age of 18, you may only use the Service with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to be bound by these Terms on your behalf. Adults who wish to contact athletes are reviewed by a person before being granted that ability; using the Service does not guarantee approval.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the information you provide and for activity on your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date. Certain statistics displayed on Metron are reviewed against video by our team; you agree not to submit falsified performance data or media you do not have the right to share.

3. A free service

Metron is free for athletes, coaches, recruiters, and parents. We do not charge for access to the core recruiting features. If we ever introduce optional paid features, we will make the terms of those features clear before you choose to use them.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, or attempt to exploit any user, especially a minor.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation or role.
• Upload content that is unlawful, abusive, or infringes another’s rights.
• Scrape, reverse engineer, or interfere with the operation of the Service.
• Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited commercial messages.

We may suspend or remove any account that violates these Terms or that we reasonably believe poses a risk to the safety of our community.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you submit. By submitting content, you grant Metron a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate and promote the Service. You are responsible for having the rights to any content and media you upload, including the rights of any individuals who appear in it.

6. Verification and safety

We use human review to verify statistics and to vet adults who seek to contact athletes. These measures are designed to improve safety and trust but are not guarantees. You are responsible for your own interactions and should exercise judgment when communicating with anyone on the Service.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and the Metron name and logo, is owned by Metron and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our branding without our prior written permission.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any outcome - including recruitment, scholarships, or roster placement - will result from using it.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Metron will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the safety of our community. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
